Coach Declan
Baseball and fitness coach, Springfield
- 🇺🇸 Springfield, Illinois, United States
- Springfield Swimming Club
- Since 2002
- English, Spanish
For 24 years I've run the baseball program at Springfield Swimming Club in Springfield. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Coach Declan
If you played for me, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
What gifts mean to Coach Declan: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
