I've coached tennis at Queensway Athletic Club since 2008. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Coach Declan: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
