Coach Débora
Youth football coach and mentor
- 🇧🇷 Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil
- Campinas Sports Club
- Since 2002
- English
I've coached football at Campinas Sports Club since 2002. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Débora
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Débora: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Kumasi.
