I coached baseball at Recife Football Club from 1988 to 2000. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
What gifts mean to Coach Daniela: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
