Coach Daniel
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇧🇷 Santos, São Paulo, Brazil
- Orchid Sports Club
- Since 2010
- Portuguese, Spanish
For 16 years I've run the chess program at Orchid Sports Club in Santos. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Daniel
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Daniel: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
