Coach Daniel

I coached cross country at Mar del Plata Sports Club from 1989 to 2002. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If you played for me, you probably remember the rainy sports day.

What gifts mean to Coach Daniel: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
