For 37 years I've run the table tennis program at Sacramento Athletic Club in Sacramento. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
