Coach Danica
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇵🇭 Angeles, Pampanga, Philippines
- Elmwood Community Club
- Since 2012
- English, Filipino
For 14 years I've run the rowing program at Elmwood Community Club in Angeles. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
