Coach Damilola

Youth football coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇬 Zaria, Kaduna, Nigeria
  • 1992 to 2022
  • English, Igbo
I'm a football coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 1,230 kids fall in love with the game. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.

More about Coach Damilola

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Damilola: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
