Coach Damilola
Youth cycling coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Pioneer Community Club
- Since 1987
- English, Hausa
I've coached cycling at Lagos Pioneer Community Club since 1987. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Damilola
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
