For eleven years I ran the chess program at Lapu-Lapu Football Club in Lapu-Lapu. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
