Coach Clara
Youth cricket coach and mentor
- 🇬🇧 Coventry, England, United Kingdom
- Coventry Football Club
- 1980 to 1992
- English
I coached cricket at Coventry Football Club from 1980 to 1992. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

I still think about the last day before the summer holidays. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Negombo.
