Coach Citra
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Jakarta Selatan Hope Sports Club
- 1979 to 1999
- English, Indonesian
I coached rowing at Jakarta Selatan Hope Sports Club from 1979 to 1999. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Coach Citra
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Citra: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 1991. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Nagpur.
