Coach Chioma

Youth basketball coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Lagos Athletic Club
  • Since 1979
  • English, Yoruba
I've coached basketball at Lagos Athletic Club since 1979. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
