I've coached martial arts at Mangaluru Hope Athletic Club since 1996. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
