Coach Chinedu
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Wudil, Kano, Nigeria
- Wudil Boxing Gym
- Since 1978
- English
For 48 years I've run the chess program at Wudil Boxing Gym in Wudil. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm learning the guitar.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Coach Chinedu
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Chinedu: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
