Coach Chidi
Cross country coach, Port Harcourt Athletic Club
- 🇳🇬 Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria
- Port Harcourt Athletic Club
- Since 1996
- English, Hausa
I've coached cross country at Port Harcourt Athletic Club since 1996. Most of my players were between 8 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Chidi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
