Coach Chidi
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
- Redwood Boxing Gym
- 1997 to 2024
- English
For 27 years I ran the chess program at Redwood Boxing Gym in Epe. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Coach Chidi
If you played for me, you probably remember the rainy sports day.
What gifts mean to Coach Chidi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
