I've coached badminton at Lagos Boxing Gym since 1987. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
