Coach Chidi

Swimming and fitness coach, Onitsha

  • 🇳🇬 Onitsha, Anambra, Nigeria
  • Onitsha Meadowbank Athletic Club
  • 2003 to 2018
  • English, Igbo
I coached swimming at Onitsha Meadowbank Athletic Club from 2003 to 2018. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.

If you played for me, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
