Coach Chhaya

Boxing and fitness coach, Spokane

  • 🇺🇸 Spokane, Washington, United States
  • Spokane Swimming Club
  • Since 2007
  • English, Hindi, Spanish
For 19 years I've run the boxing program at Spokane Swimming Club in Spokane. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

What gifts mean to Coach Chhaya: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
