Coach Chantel
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
- Pretoria Harbor Athletic Club
- Since 1984
- English, Zulu
For 42 years I've run the chess program at Pretoria Harbor Athletic Club in Pretoria. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I watch every football match going.
More about Coach Chantel
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Coach Chantel: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
