Coach Chalida
Chess coach, Bang Khen Sports Club
- 🇹🇭 Bang Khen, Bangkok, Thailand
- Bang Khen Sports Club
- 1983 to 2018
- English
I coached chess at Bang Khen Sports Club from 1983 to 2018. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Chalida
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
