Coach Cathal
Chess coach, Limerick Athletic Club
- 🇮🇪 Limerick, Munster, Ireland
- Limerick Athletic Club
- 1981 to 1998
- English, Spanish
For 17 years I ran the chess program at Limerick Athletic Club in Limerick. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Coach Cathal: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
