Coach Carmen

Youth wrestling coach and mentor

  • 🇲🇽 Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, Mexico
  • Ashford Community Club
  • Since 2011
  • Spanish
I've coached wrestling at Ashford Community Club since 2011. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Coach Carmen: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
