Coach Carmela
Youth tennis coach and mentor
- 🇵🇭 Davao City, Davao del Sur, Philippines
- 1981 to 1995
- English, Filipino, French
For 14 years I ran the tennis program at Davao City Swimming Club in Davao City. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
What gifts mean to Coach Carmela: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
