Coach Carlos

Youth chess coach and mentor

  • 🇲🇽 Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico
  • Zapopan Summit Athletic Club
  • Since 1994
  • Spanish
I've coached chess at Zapopan Summit Athletic Club since 1994. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday. Thank you for stopping by.

More about Coach Carlos

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
