Coach Carlos
Chess and fitness coach, Mexicali
- 🇲🇽 Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico
- 1979 to 2006
- English
I coached chess at Mexicali Hope Athletic Club from 1979 to 2006. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Coach Carlos
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
