For 37 years I ran the rugby program at Makati Boxing Gym in Makati. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Coach Carlo
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Carlo: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
