Coach Cansu
Cross country coach, Sakura Athletic Club
- 🇹🇷 Antalya, Antalya, Türkiye
- Sakura Athletic Club
- Since 2000
- English, Turkish
For 26 years I've run the cross country program at Sakura Athletic Club in Antalya. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Coach Cansu: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
