Coach Camila
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Scranton, Pennsylvania, United States
- Pioneer Sports Club
- 2018 to 2025
- English
For eight years I ran the chess program at Pioneer Sports Club in Scranton. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

What gifts mean to Coach Camila: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

you coached me in 2021. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Casablanca.
