For eight years I've run the volleyball program at Manila Redwood Athletic Club in Manila. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
