I coached cross country at Stonebridge Swimming Club from 1987 to 2001. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

What gifts mean to Coach Brian: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
