Coach Biniam
Youth swimming coach and mentor
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- Crescent Youth Club
- 1978 to 1988
- English
For ten years I ran the swimming program at Crescent Youth Club in Mekelle. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Coach Biniam
If you played for me, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
What gifts mean to Coach Biniam: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
