Coach Bilal
Swimming coach, Heliopolis Boxing Gym
- 🇪🇬 Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt
- Heliopolis Boxing Gym
- 1990 to 2019
- English, Arabic
I coached swimming at Heliopolis Boxing Gym from 1990 to 2019. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
More about Coach Bilal
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Bilal: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
