Coach Bennett
Swimming coach, Springfield Orchid Sports Club
- 🇺🇸 Springfield, Illinois, United States
- 1992 to 2023
- English
I coached swimming at Springfield Orchid Sports Club from 1992 to 2023. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
More about Coach Bennett
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Bennett: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
