Coach Bennett
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇨🇦 Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada
- Lethbridge Athletic Club
- 2011 to 2023
- English
I coached rowing at Lethbridge Athletic Club from 2011 to 2023. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Coach Bennett
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Bennett: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
