Coach Benjamin
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇬🇭 Takoradi, Western, Ghana
- Takoradi Football Club
- 1985 to 2005
- English, Twi
For 20 years I ran the chess program at Takoradi Football Club in Takoradi. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
More about Coach Benjamin
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
