For 31 years I've run the hockey program at Elmwood Football Club in San Diego. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
What gifts mean to Coach Benjamin: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
