Coach Beatriz
Coached baseball for 22 years in Laredo
- 🇺🇸 Laredo, Texas, United States
- 1981 to 2003
- English, Spanish
I coached baseball at Stonebridge Athletic Club from 1981 to 2003. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Beatriz
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Beatriz: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
