I've coached football at Istanbul Football Club since 1978. Most of my players were between 10 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Coach Barış: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
