I've coached rugby at Our Lady of Peace Sports Club since 2018. Most of my players were between 8 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Ayumi
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Ayumi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
