Coach Ayanda
Coached wrestling for 36 years in Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Community Club
- 1979 to 2015
- English, Afrikaans
For 36 years I ran the wrestling program at Johannesburg Community Club in Johannesburg. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.

If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

What gifts mean to Coach Ayanda: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
