Coach Ayaka

Coached cross country for 22 years in Osaka

  • 🇯🇵 Osaka, Osaka, Japan
  • Osaka Community Club
  • 2002 to 2024
  • Japanese
For 22 years I ran the cross country program at Osaka Community Club in Osaka. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer. I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Coach Ayaka: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
