Coach Axel
Tennis and fitness coach, Chicago
- 🇺🇸 Chicago, Illinois, United States
- Chicago Bayview Boxing Gym
- Since 1981
- English
I've coached tennis at Chicago Bayview Boxing Gym since 1981. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Axel
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Axel: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
