Coach Avery
Hockey and fitness coach, Bakersfield
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
- Bakersfield Redwood Youth Club
- 2012 to 2022
- English
I coached hockey at Bakersfield Redwood Youth Club from 2012 to 2022. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
More about Coach Avery
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Avery: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
