Coach Asuka
Martial arts coach, Tokyo Central Athletic Club
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- Tokyo Central Athletic Club
- 2003 to 2021
- Japanese
For 18 years I ran the martial arts program at Tokyo Central Athletic Club in Tokyo. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Asuka
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Asuka: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
