Coach Asuka
Boxing coach, Parkside Athletic Club
- 🇯🇵 Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan
- Parkside Athletic Club
- Since 1978
- English, Japanese
For 48 years I've run the boxing program at Parkside Athletic Club in Kawasaki. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Coach Asuka: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
