Coach Arturo
Coached swimming for 27 years in Austin
- 🇺🇸 Austin, Texas, United States
- Good Shepherd Sports Club
- 1985 to 2012
- English, Spanish
I coached swimming at Good Shepherd Sports Club from 1985 to 2012. Most of my players were between 11 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Arturo
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
