Coach Arif
Youth rugby coach and mentor
- 🇧🇩 Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Savar Sports Club
- Since 1980
- English, Bengali
For 46 years I've run the rugby program at Savar Sports Club in Savar. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Arif
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Arif: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
